Substations play a pivotal role in the power system, but their frequent accidents pose significant safety challenges. To mitigate serious failures, contemporary power system substations have adopted intelligent prevention of maloperation protection systems. However, these systems face issues such as real-time monitoring inefficiencies in tracking operation ticket statuses and the absence of location data for power equipment and facilities during operation. These problems result in reduced operational efficiency, compromised power system stability, and increased operational stress on personnel. To address these challenges, this study focuses on the research and design of a high-performance substation integrated smart preventing mal-operation system. This system aims to enhance substation safety and operation efficiency, ensuring seamless coordination between power equipment and facilities. The proposed system builds upon two key advantages: a straightforward operational mechanism and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, practical application of power system substations reveals two primary defects. First, the need for manual data circulation hampers real-time updates of power equipment location data, thereby prolonging equipment downtime. Second, the existing lockout systems are prone to breakage and are complex to operate, lacking compatibility with other systems and struggling to facilitate data exchange between background machines and field equipment. This research seeks to overcome these issues and provide an integrated solution for smarter and more reliable substation operation.
