The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automated tools in research and publishing presents both opportunities and ethical considerations. The responsible integration of AI technologies must align with scholarly integrity, authorship accountability, and transparent reporting practices.

Permitted Use of AI Tools

• AI tools may be utilized for language editing, formatting, reference management, or preliminary data analysis, provided such use is explicitly disclosed in the manuscript.
• Authors must verify and take full responsibility for any content or interpretation generated or refined using AI systems.

Prohibited Use of AI Tools

• Automated writing tools must not be credited as co-authors.
• AI-generated content that lacks human verification or misrepresents data, authorship, or originality is strictly prohibited.
• Fabrication of citations, data, or experimental results via AI constitutes academic misconduct.

Disclosure Requirement

Any manuscript that involves the use of AI technologies must include a disclosure in the Acknowledgments or Methods section. This ensures transparency and allows editors and reviewers to evaluate the influence of AI on the integrity of the submission.
