Abstract

Cross-cultural communication is an integral part of our daily lives, involving the exchange of knowledge, information, emotions, and beliefs among people from diverse backgrounds. This communication extends to various social activities, highlighting its significance in fostering understanding and cooperation among cultures. The foundation of strong international relations lies in building goodwill between nations, which can be achieved through enhanced cultural exchanges between the East and the West. This mutual appreciation allows individuals to not only recognize the beauty of different cultures but also showcase the best aspects of their own countries. Artworks play a pivotal role in shaping perceptions and representing the cultural confidence of a nation. This paper underscores the importance of effective translation, historical accuracy, and the presentation of Chinese national characteristics in cross-cultural communication. By shedding outdated stereotypes and embracing modern society, it aims to promote a more accurate and nuanced understanding of China. Through a thorough analysis of traditional Chinese aesthetics, this study offers valuable insights and recommendations for facilitating successful cross-cultural communication
