The enduring impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remains palpable even three years after its declaration as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) (Cucinotta & Vanelli, 2020; Sohrabi et al., 2020). The repercussions of the global health crisis have transcended the initial phases, leaving an indelible mark on various aspects of society. This study encapsulates the protracted effects of COVID-19, examining its multifaceted implications on public health, socio-economic dynamics, and the global healthcare landscape.
With an extended timeline since the declaration of the pandemic, the research endeavors to provide a comprehensive understanding of the persistent challenges and adaptations necessitated by the ongoing COVID-19 scenario.
