Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to validate the Russian version of the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (RCBI) among nurses in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and explored factors contributing to burnout.

Methods: The original Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) was translated into the R-CBI using a rigorous forward-backward method and reviewed by experts. Between July and November 2022, 1,530 nurses were recruited through convenience sampling method from various nursing settings in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to test the scale’s reliability and validity, including confirmatory factor
