Abstract

Wetlands play a crucial role in ecosystems worldwide, providing essential ecological functions and supporting the livelihoods of millions of people. In Cameroon, these ecosystems are of particular importance, yet they face numerous threats due to human activities and environmental degradation. Understanding stakeholders' perceptions of wetlands management is essential for developing effective conservation strategies and ensuring sustainable use of these vital resources. This study examines stakeholder perceptions of wetlands management in Cameroon, shedding light on key challenges and opportunities for enhancing conservation efforts and promoting sustainable development.
