Abstract

Quality teaching is pivotal for effective learning in educational settings worldwide. This paper underscores the critical role of school leadership in shaping teaching and learning experiences, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa where effective school leaders are lacking. Drawing from existing literature, the abstract emphasizes the importance of leadership in optimizing educational resources to achieve desired outcomes. Effective school leadership fosters a conducive learning environment, enhances pedagogical practices among teachers, and promotes student engagement and achievement. By prioritizing initiatives to cultivate effective leadership practices, policymakers and stakeholders can enhance educational outcomes.
